Does my purchase help monasteries and other communities?
Your purchase will directly support the monastic communities who make up the vast majority of our suppliers as well as other communities such as Palestinian word carvers in Bethlehem (whose tourist market was vastly reduced following the curfews), some of the UK L’Arche communities and Latin American street children. All the monasteries and communities earn revenue from each sale of their products. As many of the religious orders are contemplative, and do not have the money or time to advertise their special and spiritual products, Spirit’s Gift assists them in reaching a wider audience.

Is purchasing through Spirit’s Gift website secure?
Purchasing spiritual items from Spirit’s Gift is safe and secure. Your personal information including credit and payment card details are encrypted using the latest secure sockets layer (SSL) technologies, ensuring that your information cannot be viewed by any unauthorised person.

What forms of payment does Spirit’s Gift accept?
In terms of credit and debit cards, Spirit’s Gift will accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch and Maestro. We also accept cheques (made payable to ‘Spirit’s Gift Limited’) or postal orders. . Please note that we do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. We are also unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.

Will my details be passed on to anyone else?
Spirit’s Gift is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our website and the confidentiality of the personal information with which our customers provide us. We use the information we collect to ensure that orders are processed smoothly. Spirit’s Gift will not sell or share your personal information with other organisations or third parties.

Can I order by phone or fax?
To order by phone, call Spirit’s Gift on 01342 314801 between 0930 and 17.00 Monday to Friday. Outside these hours or if no one is available to take your call, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, fax us anytime on 01342 314801 or email us.

How long does it take to receive an order?
Delivery of items usually takes an average 5 working days. However, it could take up to 28 days depending on product availability. Supplies of goods are subject to availability. If, occasionally, a product is unavailable or has been discontinued, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or a refund.

Can Spirit’s Gift handle gift orders?
Spirit’s Gift does operate a gift order service for our Congratulations Chocolate and Confectionery items. All you need to do is 1) select the items you want to order, 2) pick an applicable Congratulations or other card from the website 3) Email us the short greeting of 50 characters or fewer, including spaces that you want to send, together with details of the recipient. After the gift has been dispatched, the purchaser is sent the invoice by mail. Please contact us if you would like to utilise this service.

Do the prices on the Spirit’s Gift website include VAT?
VAT is included, where applicable, on all prices on the website.

Can I order from overseas?
We are able to ship overseas although we are unable to ship some heavy or fragile items such as glass candles. Please contact us before ordering. We can then confirm delivery arrangements and shipping charges. Nothing will be charged until you agree to these shipping costs.

What if I am unhappy with my purchase?
Our aim is that you should be completely happy with our purchases. If any item fails to live up to your expectations, simply return to us within 14 days and we will replace it or refund the price. This guarantee is in addition to and not in substitution of your statutory rights.
